2016 - Mrs. Snohomish County America

2015 - Mrs. Snohomish County America

Each of the Mrs. International contestants was asked to submit a short video introducing herself and her platform. Here is my official video!

Chemical Matrix Talk at 21 Acres

Not exactly a standard five minute video blog entry, but this was a very important day in the evolution of my public speaking career. I was so excited to be invited to give this talk at the wonderful 21 Acres organic farm and event facility in Woodinville, and so grateful for my curious and engaged audience.

Busload of Beauty Queens Wine Tour Fundraiser

In preparation for my year as your Mrs. Washington International, I held a wine country tasting tour fundraiser in Woodinville's Winery district that was attended by several of my beauty queen friends. I am truly blessed to be supported by a great network of Queens from all different systems and divisions and I thank those who came out to this event as well as the fantastic wineries who donated their wine and Butler Transportation for providing us with a tour bus.

Behind the Scenes of the Official Photo Shoot

This photo shoot for my official headshots and crown and sash pictures was the first time I got to wear the Mrs. Washington International crown and sash.

BIAWA Brain Injury Gala

I was honored to have the opportunity to attend and volunteer at the B.I.G (Brain Injury Gala) benefiting Brain Injury Alliance of Washington for a second time this year. This organization provides grants to families and sufferers of brain injuries to help with medical and recovery costs. Because chemical sensitivities is thought to at least in part be a preventable (possibly someday curable) brain injury, I am thrilled to work with BIAWA to bring attention to their work in our community.

Official Crowning Party

What a magical evening! Our official crowning ceremony for Washington's new International title holders was held on site at the store our fabulous gown sponsor Dolce Bleu - which is an absolute prom and pageant wonderland.

Go Red For Women Luncheon

My fellow WA Int'l title holders and I were honored to be able to attend and volunteer as Social Media Ambassadors at this year's Go Red for Women luncheon at Benaroya Hall in Seattle. What a fun way to support this organization and their good work providing education about heart health. We COVERED that event!

NW Womens Show

The NW Womens Show is an annual tradition and always a good time. Its a great way to make new connections, as well as always run into old friends. This year I bumped into Kusler's Pharmacy - the compounding pharmacy in Snohomish where I am actually a frequent customer. They can custom make medications and natural supplements without preservatives and added artificial colors and flavors that would otherwise be in them from the manufacturer. It was so great to see them there representing compounding pharmacies and letting people know about what they are.

Sponsor Spotlight: Dolce Bleu

I'm so happy to introduce you to Dolce Bleu in Seattle, WA! They are the amazing gown sponsor of WA International Pageants. Their store is just every pageant girl's dream come true, all the major gown labels and a fun, super helpful staff. Plan for a few hours if you go to visit, because you'll have trouble leaving!

An Evening with Heart

My fellow title holders and I were honored to have the opportunity to once again volunteer for American Heart Association of Puget Sound at their fabulous Evening with Heart gala auction as social media ambassadors for the night. We went red for women's heart health and had a fantastic evening.

May Awareness Month Recap

The month of May is Multiple Chemical Sensitivities/Environmental Illness Awareness Month. We had some big successes this month in the movement to raise the level of public awareness for these conditions - I wanted to share with you the official proclamation from Governor Inslee making the Awareness Month official, as well as a little recap of the Out of the Cage Rally I held on the Capitol Steps in Olympia to draw attention to this, my platform, my life.

Redmond Derby Days Parade

My sister queens and I were thrilled to get to ride in the Redmond Derby Days parade, escorted by members of the NW Tesla Roadster Owners club. Representing a state known for our environmental responsibility, and given my platform, it only seemed fitting that we ride in style in these fabulous electric cars! I have my connections from speaking at NW SolarFest to thank for the hook up to the Tesla Owners. We had a blast!

NW SolarFest 2017

I was honored to be asked for a 3rd year to host the Conversation Cafe at NW SolarFest and talk about my platform, The Naked Project, and my story as "The Naked Beauty Queen," sharing some beauty tips and tricks and how I manage to do beauty pageants without using toxic products.

BIAWA Gala 2017

A magical evening and a little bitter-sweet . . . because my reign as your Mrs. Washington International is coming to an end. The BIAWA gala was my very first appearance as Mrs. WA Intl last year, and now a year has flown by and it was one of my last with the title.

The Mrs. International Pageant - All Week Recap

Here is the stitched together recap video of my whole week at the Mrs. International pageant. I was so honored just to be there competing with so many amazing women on a level I had never come close to experiencing before. It was an experience I will never forget!
